Na podstawie swoich badań, psycholog David Tacey pisze:
I have certainly found in my own research that belonging to a community, being part of an ongoing conversation, can be very effective in staving off the symptoms of depression. Perhaps so many of us are depressed (in my country, the stats show that one out of every five persons is suffering from depression) precisely because community has broken down, and we are not meant to be isolated atoms, all battling for survival and ego formation. Perhaps conversation is actually good for our health.
